Valery Vakulenko

1982: graduated from St. Petersburg Marine University, St. Petersburg (former Leningrad Ship-Building Institute). Major – power units.
1982-1988: worked in the Central Research Institute on economics, IT, ship-building management in USSR. At the same time completed postgraduate studies at the University of Finance and Economics and defended a postgraduate thesis dedicated to development of sustainability in the system under external destabilizing forces.
1988-1990: General Director of the research and production cooperative “GAOS” (Flexible Automated Training Systems)
1990: founded Innovation Association “ROST”, from which an eponymous group of companies, the oldest in St. Petersburg’s real estate market, eventually evolved.
2008: initiated creation of the Eco-Development Committee at the Guild of Property Managers and Developers. Chaired EDC (later renamed Committee on Real Estate Sustainability and Energy Efficiency) GMD until 2010.
2008 – Present: responsible for the issues of energy efficiency and the environment of European Association of real estate companies “CEPI”
2010 – Present: deputy chairman of CRESEE in for development and international relations.
2010 – Present: member of RuGBC, representative of RuGBC in Krasnodarsky Region and Sochi.
2010г. – co-chairman of the Green Award jury in Social properties (wellness, medical, training etc.).
Academic degrees and titles: Ph.D. in Economics, CIPS, CCIM, Associate Member of the International Academy of Social Sciences.
