Green awards Rating System is based on international rating systems LEED v.3, BREEAM and DGNB (GSBC) and mainly is an interpretation of those conceptual recommendations, which may be put in practice in Russian realities.

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is the world's foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings, with 200,000 buildings with certified BREEAM assessment ratings and over a million registered for assessment since it was first launched in 1990.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in March 2000, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

GSBC (German Sustainable Building Council) is a constantly growing community of members that shares one primary goal: the ongoing pursuit of sustainable, and therefore economically efficient, building practice. They do so by systematically sharing expertise, providing training for market players, and raising awareness about the issue among the general public.
